The team behind the proposed All Island League that promises to transform domestic football on the island of Ireland are hosting a special session for potential sponsors and broadcast partners later on today in the Vavasour Suite of the Aviva Stadium.
A number of Sport for Business members will be joining us in conversation with Kieran Lucid and football consultancy firm Hypercube to talk through the opportunities that could exist in years to come.
The sponsor and broadcast session will take place between 1 pm and 3 pm today and if you are interested in coming along please contact us before then to let us know you will be coming along.
The first of the roadshows looking to engage with all stakeholders took place with players and coaches at the Waterfront Hall in Belfast at 6 pm yesterday followed by one for fans.
There will be another fan forum at 7 30 pm this evening at the Aviva Stadium.
On Thursday, January 30th the action will move to the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Dundalk with a gathering of academics and icons of the sport who are throwing their weight behind the League at 11 am, a meeting of clubs at 1230 pm and a media session at 2 30 pm.
The team have been gathering information from clubs and continuing discussions over the past number of months.
Kieran lucid did a major interview with Sport for Business last October and spoke openly and with enthusiasm at our Sport for Business Breakfast in Belfast at the end of November.
This promises to be another significant step forward in determining the levels of interest and enthusiasm for a project that could be one of the most important for domestic sport in the next decade.
