There was a lot of celebration going on across Dublin and the GAA community over the weekend with the PwC All Stars taking place at the Convention Centre in Dublin on Friday night and the Liberty Insurance sponsored Camogie All Stars picking up the baton on Saturday at Citywest.
Rena Buckley picked up the Players Player of the Year Award on the Saturday, a fitting tribute for her 18th Senior All Ireland title gained this year. On the men’s side Joe Canning was the Hurler of the Year after he collected his first All Ireland this year with Galway while Andy Moran picked up the Football Award and will hope to translate that to an All Ireland next year.
PwC were first time sponsors of the Awards this year and put on an excellent branding exercise outside and inside the Convention Centre.
Liberty stepped up their All Star involvement this year by supporting the first All Star overseas trip which will take place to Madrid at the end of this month.
They also filmed a series of ‘Blue Carpet’ interviews with players on the night which will be fed out through social media in the coming weeks and promise an insight into the players lives and interests away from the pitch.
Inpho Photography were on hand to capture images from both occasions a selection of which can be seen below.
