Clare Balding is one of the best known and most popular broadcasters in British television. Her journey has taken her from the jockey’s room at Royal Ascot to the Olympics, Wimbledon and her own prime time sporting chat show on the BBC.
She has also been one of the most passionate and eloquent advocates of giving parity of esteem to Women’s Sport.
Sport for Business is privileged to be involved with Liberty Insurance bringing Clare to Dublin on Thursday June 11th for an audience in front of an invited audience of those who have themselves been pushing and fighting for equality in sport and beyond.
We will be talking with Clare about her life, her career and her support for Women in Sport. We will then be joined by a panel of leaders from sport and business to look at newly commissioned research on what we can do next to get to a point where women will have equal opportunity, equal desire and equal benefit from participation in sport as they do in all other areas of life.
