Sport for Business is pleased to be involved with a special breakfast seminar taking place in Belfast next Tuesday, November 13th.

Irish Hockey Captain Katie Mullan will be one of the panelists for a discussion around the success of sporting, cultural and tourism organisations operating on an All Ireland basis.

The seminar is being organised by the British Irish Chamber of Commerce where Sport for Business sits on the Culture, Arts, Sport and Tourism Committee.

Mullan will speak about her own background as a Camogie player in her native Derry before going on to combine study and hockey at UCD and captaining Ireland to the World Cup Final in Women’s Hockey in London this summer.

She features on our Liberty Insurance backed list of 50 Women of Influence in Irish Sport in 2018, and will receive a warm welcome from the gathering of government officials, MLAs, cultural, sporting and tourism representatives, members and supporters of the British Irish Chamber of Commerce, clients of both sponsors, KPMG and Ulster Bank as well as members of the UK and Irish media.

She will be joined in the discussion by Niamh Flanagan, Director of Theatre NI, Niall Gibbons, CEO of Tourism Ireland, and Richard Williams the CEO of Northern Ireland Screen.

Sport for Business has access to a limited number of tickets to the seminar which will take place at the offices of KPMG in the new Soloist Building on Lanyon Place.

If you would like to join us for the morning, which will also have contributions on the latest on Brexit from political representatives, simply email us today quoting Belfast in the subject line and we will see what we can do.
