The Gaelic Players Association has unveiled the first video in a new series under the title of The Players Voice.
Conor Cooney is the subject and it tells the story through his own words and those of his family, of how he was a 19 year old sub back in 2012 to winning the All Ireland Final last year.
The timing is excellent given Galway’s late, late progress to this year’s final after beating Clare at the weekend.
The GPA’s getting involved in player driven content is not unexpected and we will look at the reasons behind it more closely in the coming weeks.
