The Allianz Hurling League Division One Final will be staged at Nowlan Park in Kilkenny next Sunday as part of a doubleheader with the equivalent Division one decider in the Littlewoods Ireland Camogie National League.
Similar doubleheaders between the Allianz Football League and the Lidl Ladies Football National League have taken place already this season and it means that both games will benefit from live television coverage on TG4.
The Camogie Final will be first up between Kilkenny and Cork, the two sides that have beaten each other in the last two Liberty Insurance All Ireland Championship Finals.
That will be followed by Kilkenny and Tipperary who both came through their rescheduled semifinals over the Easter weekend.
Closer cooperation between the Men’s and Women’s games in Gaelic Games has been much in evidence leading up to and since the signing of Heads of Agreement on Memoranda of Understanding between the three bodies responsible and the fact this is extending to sponsors and broadcasters is to be applauded.
Join us for a special Business of Cycling Breakfast in Dublin on April 11th when we will hear the inspiring story of Peter Ryan’s journey from Tipperary to Rio and explore the possibilities that cycling offers to individuals and the Business community. Find out more here.
