The Camogie Association are pleased to announce that they will be broadcasting live coverage of one key fixture each week in Division 1 of the 2020 Littlewoods Ireland Camogie Leagues which start this weekend.
The games will be shown via live streaming on the Camogie Association Facebook Page.
Last year streamed matches, supported by Littlewoods garnered 140,000 viewers through the campaign which was an impressive return and no doubt played a part in the record 25,000 crowd that came to the Liberty Insurance All Ireland Final at Croke Park in September.
Five matches in total will be broadcast during the group stages of the Division 1 competition throughout February and March.
The action gets underway this Saturday evening with the mouth-watering opening tie of this year’s Division 1 campaign when Cork host Waterford in Páirc Uí Chaoimh at 5 pm.
Coverage starts at 4.45 pm on the Camogie Association Facebook Page. This match forms part of a double-header when the Cork hurlers take on Tipperary at 7 pm on what should be a fantastic occasion Leeside.
This fixture will also see the implementation of the six Trial Playing Rules which are being introduced in this year’s Littlewoods Ireland Camogie Leagues.
The selected weekly fixture will be announced on a week-to-week basis as the group stages build in excitement with crucial places in the Final on March 22nd at stake.
