Carlsberg’s Danish Way to Follow Boys in Green

Carlsberg’s latest TV ad is all about ‘The Danish Way’ so it required a little bit of a pivot when the Republic of Ireland soccer team was drawn to play against Denmark with the biggest prize of all on the line, a place at the World Cup Finals in 2018.

As the Official Beer Partner of the FAI for over 20 years, it was never going to be ignored and yesterday they announced that all of the 2,135 Irish fans who have got tickets for the game in Copenhagen on Saturday, November 11th will be invited to the Carlsberg Brewery in the city.

Those travelling fans over the age of 18 will also get to enjoy a free pint of Carlsberg ahead of the game.

There will also be an opportunity for those fans who have not yet got tickets for the away game to secure them in the run up to the weekend with a series of competitions and giveaways on Carlsberg’s social media pages.

Tickets for the return leg in Dublin on Tuesday, November 14th sold out within minutes of going on public sale and it promises to be one of the sporting highlights of the year.
