The Dublin SportsFest has been a winner in the first two years of its existence, bringing sport and physical activity to life in the Capital.
This year’s event was always going to pose immense challenges in terms of putting on physical events bringing people together but what is the essence of sport only to meet those challenges and find a way around them.
This year’s SportsFest will take place in a collective virtual setting but with a drive to get clubs, families and individuals moving in a fun setting.
Get yourselves ready for #BEACTIVE Bingo with the 2020 Dublin SportsFest.
The concept was devised by Sport for Business members Titan Experience and is being supported in terms of content and social media by fellow members Future Proof media.
As the Chair of the Dublin City Sport and Wellbeing Partnership behind the event, this is something that is high on the agenda of our own Rob Hartnett and we will be featuring the event over the coming weeks as we build up to September 26th.
The event will be broadcast live from the RDS with Dublin’s leading fitness instructors on hand to lend bursts of physical activity in a fun setting alongside the game.
A prize fund for players will include a €2000 voucher for an active family stay in Center Parcs and vouchers for rows and lines.
The event will be hosted by Eoghan McDermott and will be one of the key events in the European Week of Sport that is taking place that week. The event is supported by Dublin City Council and by Sport Ireland.
Join us tomorrow for details on how sports clubs across Dublin are being encouraged to get involved and how they can benefit as a result.
