Corporate Swim Challenge – Last Call

If you are a swimmer and you know of others in your organisation that are up for a challenge, there is still an opportunity to enter the Swim For a Mile Corporate Challenge.

The event takes place at the National Aquatic Centre next week on Wednesday, April 4th and will see an anticipated 40 teams take part in what has built over the past two years to become a great team building opportunity.

The event is run as a four-person relay covering the 1,600-metre course, requiring each swimmer to complete eight lengths of the Olympic pool on the Sport Ireland National Sports Campus.

It will take place on Wednesday between 12 PM and 3 PM with the ten fastest teams from qualifying going on to compete in a Final as part of the National Swim Ireland Championships on Friday, April 6th.

Teams from Google, RTÉ and KBC Bank have competed in the event in the past.

The final deadline for entries is Monday 2nd April and the cost per team is €100 with €50 from each entry going to the 2018 Swim For a Mile Charity Partner – Special Olympics Ireland.
