Ann Downey made a bit of sporting history when she became the first woman to be appointed to the Intermediate men’s Hurling team of Ballyraggett in Kilkenny.
She features as the fifth in the series of AIB’s #ToughestSummer video pieces, shot by Ross Whittaker.

The series will be stitched together into a TV documentary to air on RTÉ next Tuesday night, 25th August.
