Northern Ireland come to the Aviva Stadium tonight almost 25 years to the day since the Republic of Ireland secured qualification for the 1994 World Cup following a ‘tense’ encounter at Windsor Park.
One of the players that night was a young Roy Keane and the Assistant Manager is the latest to appear in Three Ireland’s #TheCallUp series of video content.
In the video, he touches on the fairness of Irish fans, former leaders and when he is at his happiest.
“My mindset for every training session was to try and be the best player I possibly could, every single day. I don’t ever remember having a day where I thought, I can relax today. If you’re standing still in this game, you’re going backwards.”
