Premiership Rugby returns in England this evening, one week ahead of the return of the Guinness PRO14 here next weekend.
Harlequins host Sale Sharks at The Stoop tonight and while fans may not be able to return to the stands quite yet, Land Rover as the official vehicle partner of the tournament, is aiming to help people engage with rugby through a series of new digital activity.
Land Rover is the Official Vehicle Partner of Premiership Rugby; a partnership that stretches back to 2004 and extends to the support of the grassroots and community level of the game in England, through initiatives like the Land Rover Premiership Rugby Cup. The nationwide series of rugby festivals for U11 and U12 teams is run in conjunction with all twelve Premiership Rugby clubs, and to date has encouraged over 82,000 youngsters to discover rugby.
In the UK, Land Rover is also the Official Vehicle Partner of Premiership Rugby side, Bath Rugby, as well as PRO14 sides Glasgow Warriors and Cardiff Blues. On a global level, Land Rover’s investment in rugby includes three Rugby World Cup tournaments, six British & Irish Lions Tours, partnerships in Australia, South Africa and France, as well as a roster of rugby ambassadors.
