Sport for Business will be in Athlone later today listening in to a debate on the ethics of sport being held at the Athlone Institute of Technology.

Professor Niall Moyna from DCU, Ruth Wood Martin, nutritionist to the IRFU, Dr Una May and Patrick O’Connor from Sport Ireland and Paralympian Mark Rohan will contribute to what should prove a robust debate in the midlands.

Before that we will be with Bord Gais Energy at a leadership summit in Galway hearing about the lessons from sport and how they can inspire the world of business from hurling superstar Joe Canning, Connacht Rugby manager Pat Lam and Irish Grand National winning jockey Katie Walsh.

Watch out for updates on our social media channels throughout the day and we will have a report on both events in Friday’s digest.
