eir sport is to broadcast fifteen SSE Airtricity League games in the coming months. This is the highest number they have ever shown from the domestic game. This will be on top of the 18 live games announced yesterday to be broadcast on RTÉ.
In addition, it was also revealed that eir Sport will broadcast all five of the Republic of Ireland U21 teams home fixtures in the UEFA U21 2021 European Championships qualifying campaign.
These will include Stephen Kenny’s team taking on Luxembourg on 24th March, Armenia on September 10th, Italy on October 10th and Sweden on November 19th. Then on March 26th 2020, eir sport will broadcast the final qualifier against Iceland.
The presenting and punditry team will consist of Conor Morris, Con Murphy and Shane Supple.
