eir Sport has unveiled its broadcast team for its coverage of Women’s Rugby World Cup 2017 which gets underway at UCD in Dublin today.
Former Ireland Head Coach Eddie O’Sullivan will be joined by recently retired Ireland international Tania Rosser and current Ireland international Kim Flood for studio analysis of each encounter with coverage fronted by Des Curran.
Meanwhile, former Ireland full-back Sarah Jane Belton will be on co-commentary duty with eir Sports’ Conor Morris.
eir Sports’ coverage of Women’s Rugby World Cup 2017 features every game from the tournament including all Irish games and the final. Ireland’s pool games in the UCD Bowl, Dublin against Australia on 9th August, Japan on 13th August and France on 17th August will all be live on eir Sport.
The Irish games will also be shown on RTÉ Sport who announced details of their coverage of the tournament yesterday.
It was also announced today that, Aon, sponsors of the Ireland Women’s Rugby Team since 2014 and official partners of Women’s Rugby World Cup, have come on board as official sponsors of eir Sports’ Women’s Rugby World Cup Coverage.
