Even if it’s only for those arrival shots of the players disembarking at the ground, being an official carrier for any team sport gives plenty of visibility.
Expressway, as official carriers of the Dublin GAA senior football and hurling teams, have raised that this year with the creation of a newly branded state-of-the-art Blue Expressway coach.
The coach was launched yesterday by footballers John Small and David Byrne and will be on the road from today.
It might not be the easiest seat to relax in for fans of Mayo, Kerry or the other challengers to Dublin’s crown but it will be seen and will be a conversation starter.
Expressway became official carriers of Dublin GAA in 2015 and so have been ever-present throughout the four in a row All Ireland run.
Expressway will carry the Dublin footballers to their upcoming Super 8 matches, including this weekend’s opening game against Cork on Saturday evening, for the game against Roscommon the following weekend and then for the trip to Omagh over the August Bank Holiday weekend.
As Ireland’s largest “all Ireland” coach network, Expressway is extremely proud to be carrying the boys in blue. With 18 routes serving destinations around Ireland from Dublin city centre and Dublin Airport, this premium coach service is the way better option for fans travelling to games.
“We are delighted to be working with Expressway since 2015 and to be associated with such a strong Irish brand,” said Tomás Quinn, Commercial & Marketing Manager at Dublin GAA.
“It is a partnership that works very well for both parties and one we are happy to continue.”
“We are very proud to be the official carrier of Dublin GAA,” added Sean Forde of Expressway.
“Expressway and the GAA are a great fit and we look forward to continuing this great relationship into the future”.
