The Social Return On Investment Evaluation has been carried out by UEFA in conjunction with nine European universities.
It is expected to put a figure on the positive value generated by the sport in Ireland in a similar fashion to the report commissioned last year by Na Fianna GAA Club and which featured in our Sport for Social Good Report for 2019.
This evaluation will highlight the direct economic impact, the benefit on health spend and the social value from grassroots football in Ireland.
The launch of the report will take place as part of the FAI’s Festival of Football which is taking place across the county this week leading up to Saturday’s AGM.
Sport for Business will carry details of the report tomorrow morning.
