Family SportFest Returns

The second annual Family SportFest will take place at the Sport Ireland National Sports Campus on Sunday, 30th September.

The Family SportFest will take place during #BeActive European Week of Sport and aims to introduce people to the wide variety of sports that are available to people in Ireland.

The event provides opportunities for both adults and children of all ages and abilities to trial the world-class facilities at the Campus and sample up to 30 different sports that will be showcased throughout the day, alongside well-known faces from Irish sport.

Last year’s inaugural event was a significant success with over 2,500 adults and children of all ages and abilities attending.

Along with getting the chance to trial sports, children and adults will get the opportunity to meet Irish sporting heroes from the many different sports which call the Sport Ireland National Sports Campus home.

There will also be a question and answer session with top athletes and coaches, a trophy zone with some of Ireland’s most famous silverware and a skill zone where parents and children alike can test their skills in a fun and non-competitive environment.
