It has been a good week for hotel partnerships so far with the Curragh racecourse announcing yesterday that they have extended their association with FBD Hotels and Resorts as the official Hotel partners of the Tattersalls Irish Guineas Festival taking place on 27th and 28th May.
The prestigious weekend of top class racing attracts some of the world’s best horses and jockeys to compete over two days.
The partnership package includes sponsorship of competitive €50,000 race on both days of the festival.
This follows hot on the heels of Fota Resort being unveiled by the FAI as sponsor of the 2017 Gaynor Cup in Women’s Football.
“We are delighted to extend our partnership with FBD Hotels and Resorts and look forward to working with their CEO David Kelly and his team,” said Evan Arkwright, Commercial Manager of the Curragh Racecourse.
“The sponsorship is a very welcome boost for the racecourse as we approach a very busy period of racing through our major redevelopment project.”
FBD Hotels & Resorts own and manage two hotels in Ireland. The Castleknock Hotel and Country Club in Dublin and Faithlegg House Hotel in Waterford as well as two resorts in southern Spain.
“Following on from our sponsorship of the Lester Piggott Exhibition with The Curragh last year, we are delighted to continue our support as Official Hotel Partner of the 2017 Tattersalls Irish Guineas Festival”, commented David Kelly, CEO of FBD Hotels & Resorts.
