The Fan Engagement Conference which found its feet in Kilkenny under the amusing name of FECKK is transferring to Dublin on March 28th and has pulled together a fine list of speakers from across Britain, Ireland and Europe.
Colin Jackson will deliver a keynote address and he will be backed up by Scott McLeod, Head of Engagement with Everton FC, Ron McMurdie, Head of Technology with the Lawn Tennis Association and Paul Morgan the Communications Director with Aviva Premiership Rugby.
The day will be a mix of discussion and workshops around how leaders in the field of fan engagement are reaching out to groups with whom they need to maintain a strong relationship.
It has become the holy grail for not only teams and tournaments but also for sponsors, and all will be present when the event kicks off next month.
Barry Cunningham and Marcus O’Buachalla from Rugby will be contributing as will Valerie Mulcahy from the world of GAA and Mark Brooks from the Belfast Giants.
Derek Kinnevey from Paralympics Ireland and Fiona Hynes from Special Olympics Europe will also be there alongside a host of other speakers to be revealed over the coming days and weeks.
Sport for Business has been a long-term supporter of the conference and will be so again this year. We also have a special discount code for Sport for Business members who can get an additional 10 percent off the current Early Bird rate by quoting Sfb2018 when booking here
It will be a great companion event to the Irish Sponsorship Summit taking place at Croke Park two weeks earlier and once again contributes to Ireland being a central hub for smart thinking when it comes to the connections between sport and business.
