GAA Seeking Views on Future

The GAA is encouraging all those with an interest in sport and the community to complete a five-minute online survey as part of broad-based consultation around the development of the Association’s next strategic plan to 2020.

The survey covers what areas people would like to see emphasised over the next three years, ranging from fixtures to greater cooperation with Camogie and Ladies Football, the GAA’s place within the community and within the area of health and wellbeing.

Promotion, access to tickets and coaching standards all feature as options and the survey will mean different things to those who are involved at different levels of the game.

It will though deliver a broad emphasis on whether the sporting or community aspects of the association are of the greatest interest to the members and that alone will provide interesting food for thought.

The strategic plan will be overseen by incoming President of the GAA John Horan and will be published in April 2018.

The online survey can be accessed here and is open until January 15th. If you have a view, make sure it is known before decisions are taken and not after…
