Sport for Business is delighted to be involved in a very special event taking place this evening where we will be interviewing two of Ireland’s sporting legends Paul McGinley and AP McCoy on stage at an exclusive European Tour event.
Inside the Ropes is an invite-only event brought together by the European Tour and the Dubai Duty Free Irish Open giving some of Ireland’s leading sports and business professionals the opportunity to experience up close engagement with the stars as a way of introducing the 2018 tournament.
We will be chatting with the stars about their lives in sport and revealing real insight into leadership and what it is like behind the scenes at some of the world’s great sporting occasions.
McGinley became one of the most highly regarded figures in Irish sport when leading Europe to Ryder Cup victory in 2014 and was then the Ireland team manager for our debut Olympics appearance in 2016.
McCoy is rated as Ireland’s greatest ever sportsman having ridden 4,358 winners and been Champion National Hunt Jockey in Britain in each of the 20 years he rode as a professional.
Both men are now accomplished broadcasters with McGinley a regular on Sky Sports Golf Coverage and McCoy fronting ITV’s coverage of the major racing Festivals including at Cheltenham , Aintree and Epsom.
It promises to be some evening and we will bring you a sense of what it was like in tomorrow morning’s Daily Digest.
