December is a critical time for retailers and Intersport Elvery’s timing is spot on with the opening at the weekend of a new million euro superstore in Limerick’s Crescent Shopping Centre.
Spreading across 8,000 sq ft of retail space, it brings together the biggest sports brands from Nike, adidas and Asics through to Puma, Reebok and O’Neills among others.
With the latest opening, Intersport Elverys retail network in the Irish market now stands at 51 stores. As part of its omnichannel strategy, which combines physical and online presence, the retailer has a continued investment programme in both planned for 2020.
The online Elverys store offers more than 10,000 articles ranging from sports clothing, footwear, equipment and accessories.
Seeing, feeling and touching is still important at the quality end of the market and the new store offers an impressive experience.
Everything is on one level, and divided into clearly defined zones, for ease of navigation.
The ”action areas” and ”deco points” highlight the latest product technologies and seasonal collections.
Customers can try and test various products including with an advanced 3D foot scan which will determine the specific footwear models that fit the features of your foot and best suits your needs.
Digital screens with special touch screen displays facilitate e-Shop browsing and tablets for online ordering merge the line between the different strands of the business.
“Intersport Elverys is a recognised market leader and innovator in sports retail and we’re delighted to be expanding in Limerick,” said Intersport Elverys CEO, Patrick Rowland.
