Legacy Adds to Team

Legacy Consultants, the sponsorship and communications agency led by Dublin football star Bernard Brogan and his cousin James, has signalled its growth ambitions for the year with the hiring of two new recruits, Grace Murray, Senior Account Manager and Enda Doherty, Account Manager.

The company was established in 2013 and delivers a range of sponsorship and communication solutions for a range of clients including Littlewoods Ireland, King Crisps, AIG, Volkswagen, SKINS, Lenovo, John West and Celtic Pure.

The additional recruitment drive will bring staff numbers at the company to nine and follows on from the appointment in 2016 of Kevin Moore as Deputy Managing Director following over ten years at international communications firm, Fleishman Hilliard.

Murray has been appointed as Senior PR Account Manager after recently moving back to Ireland after five years in London with her most recent role being at Synergy Global.

While there she worked with major sports sponsors such as RBS (6 Nations) and Mitsubishi Motors (England rugby) and has previously worked on Guinness PRO12, Rugby World Cup 2015 (Emirates and MasterCard) and the Champions League (MasterCard).

Doherty, who has been appointed as an Account Manager, has also recently made the move back to Ireland after a four-year stint in Amsterdam where he worked as a Global Sports Marketing Manager Running for adidas International Marketing BV.

Here he specialised in talent identification, contract negotiation, and sponsorship activation. Prior to that Enda worked at PACE Sports Management, London, working with clients such as Usain Bolt and Mo Farah amongst others.

He also worked at Inmotion Sport, London in a delivering experiential and sponsorship activation solutions for clients including K-Swiss, Clarks and Princes Trust.

Murray holds a Masters degree in PR from Dublin Institute of Technology and Enda holds a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Therapy and Training from Dublin City University.
