Leinster Rugby has signed a new sponsorship deal with the Intercontinental Hotel to come on board as their Official Hotel Partner.
The deal will run for an initial 18 months and will see the two sides engage in a host of cross promotions on social and other media as well as hosting events and building on the strong existing relationship between the two.
In geographic terms, they could not be closer and the hotel is always buzzing when Leinster are playing at home in the RDS.
With the team in strong form and hopeful of making the Guinness PRO14 Final at the nearby Aviva Stadium, as well as playing in the same venue over Easter in their home Quarter Final against Saracens in the European Champions’ Cup, there is likely to be an immediate benefit for the hotel in terms of footfall.
“One of the main reasons for the engagement is the close alignment between us as being five-star brands at the top of our game,” said Ciara Hanley, Sales and Marketing Director for the Intercontinental Hotel speaking to Sport for Business yesterday.
“It will work well for Leinster supporters as well as for visiting fans and the players and management.”
