Our first major gathering of Sport for Business members takes place this morning in Central Dublin.
Over 100 sporting and business leaders will gather to hear from the GAA, FAI, Cricket Ireland and the Curragh Racecourse on big projects planned for the year ahead.
We will also have keynote interviews with Padraig Power of the IRFU and Malcolm Booth from the R&A at St Andrews on what it is like to be bringing the Open Championship to the island of Ireland this year.
Professor Cathy Craig of Incisiv will talk about the rapid advances taking place in Sports technology while Kelli O’Keeffe will look at the results of a major research project into sport and sponsorship conducted at the end of 2018.
The line up of those attending is impressive and can be seen below. If you are not among them, and apologies to those many who could not secure a ticket, we will hopefully get to share some of the highlight moments on social media using #SfB2019
