We are live this morning at Galway Racecourse for our first Sport for Business Breakfast in Galway.
Over 50 local sporting and business leaders will hear and join in conversations around how we might collaborate to good effect in the Western capital.
We will get things underway at 0840 with a look at how two of the leading sporting organisations in the City, Connacht Rugby and the Galway races are continuing to deliver for the city on a global stage and how they intend to do so into the future.
Then we will switch focus at 0920 to the grassroots and participation in sport.
Kathy Hynes from NUI Galway, Joanne Murphy from TriTalking Sport and Warren Healy from Clubforce will all have their own insights in conversation with Rob Hartnett of Sport for Business.
The room will be filled with representatives from Bank of Ireland, AIB, Ulster Bank, PwC, Hilti, Cpl, Elverys Intersport, Pelo, Galway 2020 and many more so the conversation will be well informed and lively.
This is planned to be the start of closer engagement with the Galway sporting and business community and we will have details of where this might lead in tomorrow morning’s Sport for Business.
If you want to follow the conversation we will be on social media via #SportForBusinessGalway.
