We are excited to be launching the 2019 edition of the Sport for Business AIG Game Changer Network in Dublin this morning.

The Game Changer Network came to life for the first time in 2018 and brought together pairings of Women from Business with Women in Sport to share, learn and help each other.

One of our Mentees decided to take a completely different career path while another coped with the pain of missing out on a trip to a World Cup Final. Sinéad Aherne was one of those who took part and went on to win the Ladies Gaelic Football Player of the Year Award after captaining Dublin to the TG4 All Ireland title.

This year’s group of sportswomen is drawn from Hockey with Deirdre Duke and Aisling Naughton both taking part ahead of a summer of Olympic ambitions; from Rugby with Jenny Murphy and Michelle Claffey, both members of the Ireland team, from Soccer with Áine Tucker recently graduated as Captain of the Trinity College Women’s Football team, from Gaelic Games across a number of county players and from Karate with the presence of Caradh Donovan.

On the Business side of the house, we have Louise Kidd from AIG, Melissa Slevin from the National Lottery, Carol Anne Clarke working with Accenture, Marie Coady from PwC, Cliona O’Leary from RTÉ Sport, Noreen Doyle from Irish Biltong, Kelli O’Keeffe from Teneo and many more.

We will launch the 2019 edition this morning at the Davenport Hotel and report back on a regular basis over the coming months on how things are progressing.

We have held back a small number of places to join this year’s programme and if you would like to take part, please email us today quoting Game Changer to see if it might work for you.
