Marketing the new Atomic Age

Atomic Sport has appointed Rosalie Heikens-O’Keeffe to the position of Marketing Manager.

Rosalie joins Atomic Sport from LEWIS Global Communications where she was Global Marketing Manager in a career that brought her from the Netherlands to Ireland.

Her role at Atomic Sport will see her head up the marketing function of the Atomic Sport business, alongside the other businesses in the Atomic Group.

Her expertise and international experience in B2B marketing and corporate communications will also be of huge benefit to a growing agency with a focus on helping rights holders stand out in the sponsorship market in the UK, Ireland and beyond.

“I’m absolutely thrilled to join the team at Atomic Sport,” said Heikens-O’Keeffe.

“I’ve been hugely impressed with the unique proposition they have in the market and the ambition and passion of the whole team.”

“Rosalie’s addition to the team is fantastic news for the business,” added Atomic Sport Director Patrick Murphy.

“While her focus will be on promoting the Atomic Sport proposition internationally, her experience and expertise in B2B, digital and direct marketing will be of huge benefit to our rights holder clients as they promote their offerings to a corporate audience.”

Atomic Sport published a rights holder manifesto in January which outlines their view on the way in which sponsorship needs to be approached.

“In an industry where on-field preparation is becoming more innovative and sophisticated, the same cannot always be said of the approach to promoting, planning and securing vital partnerships,” said Murphy at the time of the launch.

“Having worked with rights holders such as the European Tour, Rory McIlroy, Team Wiggins, Leinster Rugby and Mitchelton-Scott Pro Cycling; Atomic Sport is now ready to focus exclusively on that rights holder side of the negotiation.”
