RTÉ and Sport for Business are joining forces for a special lunchtime discussion on International Women’s Day.
Olympic Council of Ireland President, Sarah Keane, Camogie Association CEO, Joan O’Flynn, Ladies Football of the Year Noelle Healy and RTÉ Head of Sport, Ryle Nugent will join Sport for Business Founder Rob Hartnett at the Studios of RTÉ on March 8th to discuss whether Women’s Sport is now playing on a level field.
There have been significant advances in the past 12 months from hosting a Women’s Rugby World Cup to attracting a record Live and TV audience for the All Ireland Ladies Football Championship Final but there are still many barriers to overcome on the road to genuine equality.
The discussion will be introduced by RTÉ Director General Dee Forbes and will take place before a specially invited audience who will then have the opportunity to meet and discuss the next stages in the development of Women in Sport.
We have a small number of invitations for Members of Sport for Business who would like to join us on the day. Contact us today if you would like to be among the studio audience and to join the conversation.
