New Naming Rights Deal for Chadwicks Wexford Park

Wexford GAA has scored another big sponsorship win with news that Chadwicks, the building supplies, home and garden retailer has signed a ‘long-term’ agreement to rename Chadwicks Wexford Park ahead of the 2020 season.

This follows on from securing Zurich as overall county GAA sponsors at the end of last year.

Both deals have come within twelve months of employing Senior hurler Eanna martin in a full-time role as Commercial Manager.

“Wexford GAA are delighted to launch this new partnership with Chadwicks as the official naming rights partner of Wexford Park,” said Exford GAA Chairman Derek Kent.

“Wexford GAA has a bright future with excellent work being done at underage in our schools and clubs.”

“We’d like to thank our outgoing sponsor Innovate for their support since 2014 and we are excited to have Chadwicks with us on the next phase of our journey which will see further investment in our games and infrastructure.”

“We look forward to welcoming all supporters to Chadwicks Wexford Park in the near future.”

This announcement builds on Chadwicks existing investment into Gaelic Games and Leinster GAA through their sponsorship of the Chadwicks Leinster Club Hurling League which sees over 70 teams from around the province compete across Junior, Intermediate and Senior levels.

In 2019 Chadwicks provided over €20,000 worth of building materials and supplies for clubs across Leinster to help improve club facilities through the Chadwicks Kit Out Competition.

Plans are in place for this initiative to be expanded in 2020.

“We’re delighted to partner with Wexford GAA and to play a supporting role in the development of Gaelic Games across the county through our naming rights partnership with Chadwicks Wexford Park,” said group CEO Patrick Atkinson.

“I look forward to a long and successful partnership with Wexford GAA as both organisations look to grow and deliver excellence to the people of Wexford.”

The naming rights deal follows similar partnerships with UPMC Nowlan Park in Kilkenny and LIT Gaelic Grounds in Limerick signed in recent months.
