The One-Zero Event at the Aviva Stadium next week has brought together a strong group of some of the most influential leaders in the business of sport at a global level.
There are four specific stages dedicated to Broadcast and Media; Fan Engagement; Sports technology and Sponsorship, as well as a Main stage where the list of keynotes is a who’s who of those shaping the future of how sport is managed and consumed.
Sport for business will be part of the day, with Rob Hartnett hsoting the Broadcast and Media Stage. We have enabled 25 Women from within the Sport for Business Membership to attend for free as part of an Inspire Women in Sport initiative and throughout this week we will highlight the key speakers who will star on the day.
Kicking off this morning here are the five keynote speakers who will light up the main stage throughout the day.
0905 Julian Duncan, Chief Marketing Officer of the Jacksonville Jaguars
Julian Duncan joined the Jacksonville Jaguars senior management team in 2018 in the role of Chief Marketing Officer.
He is responsible for leading the strategic and creative development of all marketing, branding, digital, experiential and promotional campaigns for the team who kicked off the NFL season last night.
He has previously worked in similar roles within Nike and Under Armour and brings a world of experience to Dublin for the first time.
Among the partnerships he has worked closely on are those involving Serena Williams, LeBron James and Stephen Curry
1050 Mike Downey, Director of Sports Technology at Microsoft
For the last ten years Mike Downey has overseen the planning and execution of Microsoft partnerships in sports, esports and entertainment.
These have included relationships with the NFL, The PGA Tour and Real Madrid.
He will be looking at the Technology that will shape the future of eSports in particular.
1155 Swan Sit, Former Vice President Global Digital at Nike.
Regarded as one of the world’s leading digiatl marketers, Swan Sit has steered the way in which Nike, Estee Lauder and Elizabeth Arden have adapted to an ever more digital world.
Her session will focus on driving revenue through digital channels and will appeal to business leadership teams as well as sporting ones.

Neil Christie has been COO and CEO of one of the world’s most innovative marketing agencies over the past 15 years.
His work includes groundbreaking campaigns for the FA, Nike, Converse, Formula 1, Ford and Fox Sports.
Wieden + Kennedy has been voted the most innovative company in marketing and advertising in each of the last two years and Christie’s session will focus on the emotional power of advertising.
1625 Heidi Browning, Chief Marketing Officer, NHL
Heidi Browning heads up the National Hockey League’s growth marketing strategy with a particular focus on digital, innovation and social media.
Her particualr key focus is on the shifting trends across generations in how to capture attention.
Reaching out to Millenial and Generation Z audiences is crucial to maintain and build fan engagement and Browning is one of the sporting world’s leading authorities in how to do just that.
