One-Zero Returns to Dublin

One-Zero 2019 has been confirmed for Dublin’s Aviva Stadium on September 17th, 2019.

The event will incorporate two of Ireland’s leading sports business conferences – the Irish Sponsorship Summit (ISS) and the Fan Engagement Conference (FEC).

The three events have merged into one, bringing together over 15 years of collective conference experience within the Irish sporting landscape, helping to ensure that One-Zero 2019 will be one of the biggest events of its kind in Europe this year.

Sport for Business Founder Rob Hartnett was one of the original founders of the One-Zero event and retains a stakeholding in the business. Sport for Business will support this year’s event as a media partner.

Previous editions of One-Zero have included Keynotes with Sir Clive Woodward, John Kavanagh, Mounir Zok from the US Olympic Committee, Tony McCoy, Hope Solo and many more leaders in the business of sport.

Over 500 delegates involved in the business of sport are expected to attend the one-day event, which will gather some of the leading innovators from across the world.

Over 35 thought-leaders will be in attendance from some of sport’s leading organisations, including the NFL, Premier League, NHL and Formula 1.

“We are bringing those who are shaping the sports industry to Dublin for a day of unrivalled learning and premium networking for all our attendees,” said Patrick Haslett, CEO of One-Zero.

“At a time when the traditional models of sport are being challenged by technology-fuelled disruption, we want to help our audience understand these changes, so they’re better equipped to navigate the future.”

“One-Zero 2019 at the Aviva Stadium will involve keynote speeches, in-depth presentations, panel discussions and workshops, all designed to help delegates navigate this rapidly changing world.”

“The best sponsorships in the world weren’t achieved with tweaks and baby steps, but with big ideas and bold agendas,” said keynote speaker Kim Skildum-Reid.

“It’s inspirational to be involved with a conference that’s embracing that. This promises to be worth every one of the 54 hours I’ll spend on a plane to be involved.”

Dublin City Council has been confirmed as Official Host Partner for this year’s event which will also be supported by the IDA and Fáilte Ireland.

“Dublin City Council is delighted to partner with the team delivering One-Zero,” said Assistant Chief Executive of Dublin City Council, Richard Shakespeare.

“We welcome the opportunity to position Dublin as one of the key global locations to do business in, as well as showcasing the city’s innovative sports-tech cluster.”
