Sport for Business is pleased to reveal today that we will be shining a light on the world of data in sport again next month when we host a very special sports panel at the Predict Conference in Dublin’s RDS.
We will be joined on the Main Stage on Tuesday afternoon, October 2nd by Grainne Barry, Regional Operations Director for Europe, the Middle East and Africa for US sports data giant Stats; and from London by Simon Long of The Sports Consultancy to look at the changing ways that data is becoming a central part of the sports experience.
We will cover this from a sports organisation, host venue, fan and media perspective and will go right up to date and into the future on how the leaders in the field are using data to tell richer stories around sport.
You can find out more about the overall line up for Predict right here.
We have also agreed a special discount for Sport for Business members to attend the conference. Simply use code PREDNEZFAPART at time of booking and secure a 25 percent discount on the cost of attending.
It is always fascinating to look at the ways in which our world is changing and the pace of acceleration in the field of how we use data is one that no one can afford to be unaware of.
Take a look back on what we discussed last year with Ray Boyne of Dublin GAA, Lisa Fallon of Cork City FC and the Northern Ireland Football team and Alan Swanton from the Sport Ireland Institute of Sport.
