PRO14 Appoints Global Media Agency

PRO14 Rugby has appointed RDA TV as the exclusive media rights agency for the Guinness PRO14’s international distribution rights outside of Ireland, the UK, Italy and South Africa.

The initial three-year agreement starts with the beginning of the new season in the autumn and will run through to 2020/21.

RDA is based in London and works with World Rugby and Premiership Rugby in terms of selling global rights to Rugby’s biggest properties.

Its focus for PRO14 Rugby will be on growing revenues in core markets including France, Australia and New Zealand as well as increasing the Guinness PRO14’s global footprint.

Current media agreements in host markets secured by PRO14 include eir sport in Ireland, Premier Sports in the UK and Super Sport in Sub-Saharan Africa.

RDA adds the Guinness PRO14 to a strong rugby portfolio covering the newly sponsored Heineken Champions Cup, European Challenge Cup, Premiership Rugby, Betfred Super League and the RFL International Test Series.
