The Dublin Rock’n’ Roll Half Marathon will take place on the streets of Dublin next August 10th and 11th.
The date was revealed as part of a global launch in Florida yesterday when the Worldwide tour of 27 destinations was published.
The series has been a massive success around the world and Dublin is one of the races that keeps on making the schedule.
Both this race and the one in Liverpool are among the most popular among global audiences and both are managed by Ironman EMEA which took over the mass participation division of Irish based Titan earlier this year.
Together with Madrid they are the only European stops on the tour in 2019 with 15 in the United States, six in China and others in Mexico, Colombia and Canada.
“We want to welcome runners of all skill levels to join us for the 2019 Tour of the Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon Series,” said Josh Furlow, Managing Director of the Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon Series. “We are excited about the Series growing around the world.”
The Dublin race has been sponsored by Affidea for the past two years.
