Rock on Hand to Spread Tracker App Message

Dean Rock is lending his influence to encourage as many people as possible to download the HSE’s Covid-19 tracker app.

In the video below he makes the case for doing this one more thing to help reduce the chance of the virus regaining control of our lives.

Paul Mannion, Noelle Healy, Cora Staunton, Tomás Ó Sé, Colm Cooper, Kieran Donaghy, Ciaran Kilkenny and John Egan have posted the video on their social media channels in support.

Other sports people including camogie player, Anna Geary, golfer, Shane Lowry, hurlers, Jackie Tyrrell and Henry Shefflin, as well as Irish sports broadcasters, Jacqui Hurley and Evanne Ní Chuilinn have also shared the video.

“I’m delighted to be working with the HSE on the launch of its new COVID Tracker App,” said Rock.

“This is something that if used properly, could save lives and help us all get back to some form of normality. As sports players, it’s our responsibility to not only look after our own health but those of our teammates too.”

“Using the app is an act of care, you are taking care of yourself, your teammates and your community.”
