The International Rugby Players Council met for the first time in Monaco earlier this week as the players relaxed after the World Rugby Awards.
The group assembled to discuss major issues facing the game such as International Season structure, Player load, Concussion Return To Play protocols and the laws of the game.
The Council was brought together by International Rugby Players, the official representative body of professional players across the globe.
This is run out of Dublin and led by Omar Hassanein, the former CEO of IRUPA which became Rugby Players Ireland last year.
Johnny Sexton, Sene Naoupu, Brian O’Driscoll and Rob Kearney were among the Irish players.
