There will be a strong gathering of those committed to the advance of Women in Sport at Google next Monday with the launch of a new initiative that Sport for Business is delighted to be involved with.
We are not alone. Over the coming days, we will reveal the major companies that are backing the campaign and today we have a limited number of places for Sport for Business members to join us there on the day.
The initiative will be all about championing champion girls and women in sport. It is being presented by The Federation of Irish Sport and has been originated and developed by the creative agency Along Came A Spider.
It will be formally launched at a breakfast event at The Google Foundry on Monday 15th October.
It promises to be a special morning featuring Manchester United Manager and former England soccer captain Casey Stoney as well as 18 Time All-Ireland Winner Rena Buckley, Sport Ireland CEO John Treacy, OFI President and Swim Ireland CEO Sarah Keane, renowned horse trainer Jessica Harrington and Ireland Women’s Hockey Coach Graham Shaw.
If you are a member of Sport for Business and would like to join us for the early start to next week email Elaine Mooney at the Federation of Irish Sport. But you will have to act fast as places are limited.
