Small Things That Matter in The Toughest Journey

AIB’s promotion of The Toughest Game is all across mainstream and digital media at the moment as the season of All Ireland Finals is upon us.

There is always plenty of chatter about why they picked a Dublin player to feature in the TV ad emulation and why indeed he bears a striking resemblance to bete noir among fans of other counties, Diarmuid Connolly.

You could analyse every small detail to within an inch of it’s virtual life and add little to the field of human wisdom but we do like the fact that some of the elemenst of social media promotion use clearly female players in the imagery.

That packs up the fact that you can choose to play as a man or a woman player for any of the counties.

It’s a small thing but in a world where people and brands still have to put their hands up to make sure that equality is normal and not something that has to be fought for, it’s often the small steps that make the difference.

You can find out more about the game and download here to while away a moment or two…

Sport for Business latest Smart Minds round Table discussion takes place on August 29th and will focus on the rapidly developing world of gaming and eSport.  Find out more.
