Sport for Social Good Tickets On Sale

Tickets go on sale today for the Sport for Social Good Conference in Dublin on Thursday, September 27th.

This will be one of our keynote events of the year bringing together members of the Sport for Business community to explore a local as well as global perspective on the profound social impact which sport can deliver working with engaged partners and communities.

We will have research and analysis of the impact on communities and for brands and sport.

We will highlight areas in which this important crossover between sport and business can be developed further in the future.

We will also be publishing a special review ‘Sport for Social Good 2018′ highlighting the great work that companies and sporting organisations are doing in this area.

Part of the day will also explore the challenges that businesses face in being accused of doing it ‘purely for business reasons’ and how this can impact on the genuine good that can be delivered.

Giving business permission to be honest that there is a business, as well as a social case for backing projects, is an area that is rarely explored yet we consistently see coverage about how they are doing it for ‘the wrong reasons’.

The Sport for Social good Initiative is backed by Allianz and will highlight the work that a wide cross-section of brands, sporting and social organisations are doing as well as highlighting what opportunities there are to do them better.

Each week in the run-up to the Conference Sport for Business will highlight individual projects being supported and developed by our members, building into the single best picture of what sport and business can achieve together.

We are excited for the potential which this event can have. We hope you will join us to make that potential real.
