Sport figured prominently at the launch yesterday of AIB’s Future Sparks Festival.
The 2019 gathering will bring together more than 7,500 senior level students to Dublin’s RDS on March 14th for an event which will bring together business leaders and young entrepreneurs to inspire students and show them the power of their potential.
Representing the world of sport, rising Dublin football star Brian Howard joined former Irish Rugby legend Peter Stringer, who last year called time on a decorated professional career spanning two decades to build his specialised fitness, nutrition and lifestyle performance business.
they will be joined by others from entertainment, lifestyle and the ‘future of work’ sectors to provide a day of inspiration.
“I am delighted to be part of this great event – it’s a brilliant opportunity for students to hear really interesting discussions on a whole range of businesses,” said Stringer taking time out from his business as well as his appearance on Dancing With the Stars.
“I think it’s a unique opportunity to show students that there are many different paths to get you to your dream career and AIB Future Sparks showcases how dynamic the Irish market is.”
“I am really looking forward to the event in the RDS in March and getting the opportunity to meet with the Future Sparks of Irish business.”
The event will feature multiple stages, hosting panel talks around the future of Sport, Music, Food, Entertainment, Entrepreneurship & Technology.
AIB are assembling the best in business to inspire and spark conversation with students, through inspirational talks and panel discussions featuring trailblazers in business and thought leaders from a broad range of industries and disciplines.
Sport for Business and Entertainment for Business will be there on the day to bring you the best of what is being discussed.
“We are extremely proud to announce the second year of the AIB Future Sparks Festival today,” said Paul Fisher, Head of Marketing, Consumer and Sponsorship at AIB.
“Once again, it promises to provide motivation and insight to help students to achieve their dreams in the future. Ireland is home to so many successful young innovators and trailblazers, and we’re excited to present a panel that reflects this. We look forward to welcoming students from all over Ireland to the RDS in March where we hope to inspire the next generation to reach their potential.”
