Stockdale Helping Maxol Awareness

Jacob Stockdale is to be the face for Maxol’s Christmas campaign for mental health charity Aware.

The forecourt retailer is aiming to raise over €60,000 this Christmas for its charity partner.

They will be donating 10 cents to Aware for every cup of ROSA coffee, tea or other hot drink purchased between now and 31st December at participating service stations nationwide.

With Stockdale’s support, they are hoping to surpass the €62,000 figure that was raised last year.

AWARE provides support, education and information for people impacted by depression, bipolar disorder and mood-related conditions.

75 per cent of Aware’s annual funding comes from donations and corporate and private fund-raising activities.

Having the Irish winger as the face of the campaign will doubtless boost awareness of this important campaign at this time of year.

The partnership between charity and brand has been in place since 2016.

Speaking last year Maxol CEO Brian Donaldson said “We are incredibly proud of our partnership with Aware and the great work they do across the country. Mental health is such an important issue that affects so many people and we’re very pleased to be able to help and support those who need it most.”
