Sure Thing for GAA on Stats

Sure has announced its second year as Official Statistics Partner of the GAA with a new integrated marketing campaign; ‘Never More Sure’, trusted by GAA players.

The major campaign brings GAA pressure moments to life by unlocking in-game and player statistics in stadia and on TV throughout the 2017 All Ireland Senior Football and Hurling Championships.

The three year partnership sees Sure become an integral part of the GAA’s reports on match statistics for the All Ireland Senior Football and Hurling Championships.

Kilkenny hurler, Richie Hogan and Dublin footballer, Ciarán Kilkenny are the faces of the campaign, featuring together in billboards and on screens across the country. Inspiring the rest of the GAA community to have the confidence to prepare for the uncontrollables with Sure, the players bring GAA pressure moments to life by telling their own stories behind the in-game statistics.

“Building on the conversation we started with the GAA community last year, we want fans and players across Ireland to be able to trust Sure when preparing for pressure moments that the GAA world brings in many forms,” said Peter Hatton, Head of Marketing Personal Care, Unilever Ireland

“In doing so, our hope is that as Statistics Partner of the GAA we’ll innovate more and more to truly enhance the player and fan experience throughout the 2017 championship and beyond. One way we’re doing this is with a new innovative partnership with national broadcaster RTÉ, where we’ll be bringing real-time match stats analysis to screens across the nation.’’

The campaign is now live in retail outlets across Ireland, where consumers are can take a Trivia quiz to win a seat for the rest of the Championship season in Croke Park by picking up a can of Sure.

Sure is part of Unilever’s Personal Care portfolio, and the brand has an existing high-profile sponsorship deals with sporting outlets, companies and organisations around the world such as Formula One, Sky Sports and The Ashes Series amongst others.
