The Olympic Federation of Ireland will take another major step in the rehabilitation of its reputation later this morning when a National Sponsor for Team Ireland through to the Tokyo Olympics is unveiled in Dublin.
Electric Ireland has backed the team over the last two Olympic Games in London and Rio providing a strong level of content creation and branding behind the athletes in the run up to the games.
A strong summer of sporting achievement across Olympic sports from Athletics to Hockey and Rowing to Cycling has given a real buzz to the sporting landscape that often only really captures the imagination on a four-year cycle.
Natalya Coyle and Arthur Lanigan – O’Keefe will be genuine medal contenders in Modern Pentathlon while sailing, swimming, badminton and equestrian sport will also have a strong pipeline of talent coming through, ready to peak for Tokyo.
Sport for Business will reveal the new sponsor on our Social Media Channels later this morning and tomorrow we will interview Peter Sherrard, CEO of the Olympic Federation as well as the new sponsor.
