Telling the Story of Ireland’s Paralympians

Paralympics Ireland is looking to appoint a new Communications and Marketing Manager that will play an important role in next years European Para Swimming Championships in Dublin and on the Road to the next Paralympic Games in Tokyo.

It is an exciting time to join the organisation who recently appointed Miriam Malone to the position of CEO and elected John Fulham to the role of President.

Paralympics Ireland has been one of Ireland’s leading sporting organisations since the run up to the London Paralympic Games in 2012 where athletes like Jason Smyth and Michael McKillop emerged as world stars.

Team Ireland secured 16 medals there and another eleven at Rio and works closely with other Governing bodies to help develop talent at the highest level of athletics, swimming, cycling, football and more.

The opportunity to work closely with the new senior management team on one of the largest international sports events to come to Ireland and then to take the relationships formed over the next twelve months onto the Tokyo Paralympic Games is itself a golden one.

The role will be to take over from Sinead Naughton who is leaving the organisation with a tremendous legacy of good will and good working relationships with the media and with other sporting partners.
