Thank you once again for your interest in and support of Sport for Business throughout 2018.
It has been a year like no other for Irish sport and it has been a privilege once again to hold up a mirror to the achievements of those who have made sport matter at every level of our society, whether on the field or through backing them through partnerships.
The effort which you put into making great things happen drives us on to be as good as we can be in support of the community we have built together.
We have welcomed 91,262 unique visitors to the Sport for Business website in 2019, an eight-fold increase on our first full year in 2012 and 31 per cent more than was the case in 2017.
We have produced a little over one million words of news, commentary, analysis and campaigning in the past 12 months, and still it feels as though we are only at the beginning of a journey to bring sport and business closer together for mutual benefit.
Thank you to those who have read our words, attended the 24 events we have been involved in and said kind words about what you have come across.
Thank you especially to those who have continued to support us through annual membership, enabling us to do what we do and hopefully in some small way make a difference.
We will take a break over Christmas but are already excited for the new events, features and ideas we have to make 2019 better again.
The news digest kicks off once more on Monday, January 7th. Our first events of the year will be The Sporting Year Ahead on January 18th, the Game Changer Breakfast on January 25th, our first event in Cork on February 12th and a gathering of our 30 Under 30 Young Leaders of the Future on February 14th.
In the meantime, though we wish you and those who matter to you a very special Christmas.
