Sport for Business is to bring together members of its business led community to explore the ways in which cycling is becoming ever more the physical activity of choice for individuals and groups as we head towards the summer of 2018.
Peter Ryan will tell his inspirational story of his transition from the elite hurling fields of Tipperary to the Para-Cycling World Championships in Rio where he is competing this week.
We will have a panel discussion featuring Tony Daly, Chairman of the Ring of Kerry Charity Cycle, one of Ireland’s leading participation and fundraising events celebrating it’s 30th anniversary this summer; as well as individuals to be announced in the coming days who will take us through the impact in the UK on cycling events undertaken as a motivational and team bonding exercise with some of the UK’s biggest and most progressive companies.

“Cycling is riding the crest of a wave in terms of popularity and we will look at the ways in which business and business leaders are making a personal passion into a real force for team building and social good within their organisations,” said Sport for Business CEO Rob Hartnett.
“This latest in our series of Business Breakfast events for 2018 is the first time we have looked in detail at the way in which cycling is impacting us from a travel, fitness and motivating perspective and it is exciting to have such a strong group of speakers to share their story.”
Attendees will enjoy the opportunity to network with fellow cycling enthusiasts, hear stories that will inspire them and have a full Irish breakfast to set them up for how they might take the lessons of the morning back into their workplaces and their own lives.
