Travel is all about the experiences you pick up along the way and not just the final destination. All roads lead to London this weekend for Ireland against England and a shot at the Triple Crown.
As part of its support for the Irish Rugby team, Aer Lingus has been producing a series of video vignettes based on each of our opponents, but with a twist.
For the Wales game, it was Donncha O’Callaghan trying to convert fans of red into green.
For this weekend it is a more subtle approach with Tommy Bowe showing off some unexpected attractions in London to lifelong resident and former England international Ugo Monye.
The video runs for over six minutes which is longer than would regularly be seen as optimum but it is carried along by Bowe’s winning personality and by his choice of venues.
From an old Victorian toilet converted, after a year’s cleaning, into a trendy coffee spot to Gods Own Junkyard and the greatest display of neon kitsch you are ever likely to feast your eyes on.
These won’t feature on a Trip Advisor Top Ten of places to go to in London but they should.
